From the bedroom windows, you can gaze over open fields towards the river Culm.

The bedrooms are clean and each has a TV, a digital radio alarm clock and a hairdryer. You will find fresh ground coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits and finest leaf tea on the tea tray. All the rooms have central heating.

Both double and king size beds are very comfortable with quality mattresses, four pillows and fresh cotton sheets. Bath robes are provided in the double rooms.

The luxurious ensuite bathroom has a spacious walk in power shower. The private bathroom has a roll top bath, bidet and power shower.


Both bathrooms have views which stretch over the fields to the skyline.

 

 

 

 



You are welcome to enjoy a swim when you arrive and to feel free to wander through the beautiful gardens. We hope that you will consider that this is your home while you are staying with us.

Visitors have exclusive use of the owners’ swimming pool.

Pounds Farm is about 160 miles from London, mid way between London and Lands End. We lie close to the Devon and Somerset border and we are between the north and south coasts of Devon. The Somerset Levels, the Quantock Hills and Exmoor are within easy reach. Click here to see a map.


We are approximately 5 miles from the M5 junctions 26 and 27 and 8 miles from the A303 and A30 near Honiton. We are south of Wellington (6 miles), north of Honiton (9 miles) and south west of Taunton (12 miles). We are east of Exeter (22 miles) and although it is our postal address, Cullompton is 14 miles.). For directions click here.


If arriving by public transport, the nearest main line stations are Tiverton Parkway, Honiton or Taunton station. See www.nationalrail.co.uk and www.thetrainline.co.uk. Bicycles may be booked and are carried free of charge.


Long-distance coaches stop at Taunton and Wellington. (www.nationalexpress.com, www.berryscoaches.co.uk)


There is a bus service from Hemyock to Wellington and Taunton and also to Honiton and Seaton, with connections to Exeter and Sidmouth. We can collect you by arrangement.

 

 

We are delighted to welcome business visitors to Pounds Farm at competitive mid week, off season rates. We have mobile telephone reception and we can provide free wireless internet access.
