Recently converted to a high standard, the cosy, beamed, stone cottage
has full central heating. Upstairs lies a brass king size bed with white
linen.
At one end there is a comfortable sofa where you can enjoy TV
and DVD or just gaze out over the pastoral view through French windows.

These open out onto a large southwest-facing balcony, entwined with
scented roses, honeysuckle and clematis. Here there is a table
and chairs
for al fresco dining, shaded by the leaves of a walnut tree.

The kitchen has a dining table and chairs, is well equipped and is
fully fitted with solid ash worktops. The cottage and pool boast natural
spring
drinking water, which also supplies the power shower.
Steps from the balcony
lead down to the paved terrace, within which lies the 30 ft x 15 ft
pool. Here in a sheltered corner is a large glass topped
table with white parasol for shade and chairs that fully recline. Roses,
lavender and thyme border the terrace.

Adjoining the pool is a tranquil shady orchard of both young and well-established
plums, pears, medlars, apples, figs and mulberries. At the far end of this orchard
is the vegetable garden. Raspberries and vegetables are available in season.

Visitors are encouraged to enjoy a swim whenever they wish and to feel
free to wander through the beautiful gardens. We hope they consider that
this is their
home while they are staying with us.
